Biography
This Irish wedding harpist has been performing at weddings and private functions throughout Ireland for the last 10 years. She can sing with the harp or accompany other singers and can arrange to bring in other instrumentalists; flute, violin, organ, guitar and string quartet if required.
Every wedding and event is unique and each individual has their own musical tastes. For each event the music is customised by you, her repertoire includes a wide range of classical pieces, Irish traditional songs and modern contemporary songs. Included is a list of the more popular requested wedding songs and pieces as an aid
Based in Limerick, she completed her Vocal Studies at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama under Dr Suzanne Murphy, she returned to Ireland to further her career. Since coming home she has worked with Anuna, Barespace Theatre Company and most recently taken part in Opera Ireland's production of Gounod's Romeo et Juliette and Tosca at the Gaiety Theatre. However the highlight has been singing The Fields of Athenry and Stand Up and Fight at Thomond Park before Munster matches.
She has been performing as a harpist for over a decade. She has played regularly in Bunratty Castle since 2001 and have recently featured as a soloist on the CBS radio station as a guest of Peter Greenberg.
She has also been performing at weddings and other functions for over 10 years. During the last US presidential visit she played for US and Irish Government officials and ministers at a reception in the Adare Manor.
Her summers are spent performing on the slopes of the Cliffs of Moher, where the beautiful setting and enjoyment of the passing visitors reminds me of why she first fell in love with music.
